The primary goal of trade facilitation is to help make trade across borders (imports and exports) faster, cheaper, and more predictable, while ensuring its safety and security. It involves simplifying and harmonizing formalities, procedures, and the exchange of information and documents among supply chain partners. Trade facilitation encompasses not only the physical movement of goods but also the associated information flows and the involvement of governmental agencies and commercial entities in the trade process.
To be the first and the best Trade Facilitation Centre in Nigeria that facilitates ease of trade by the removal of all bottlenecks that hinder the smooth and free movement of persons, goods and services and make trading a major contributor to the overall economic development and prosperity of Bauchi State
To aspire to be the most active, innovative and result oriented agency of government that strives towards emplacing Bauchi State at the forefront of trade facilitation in Nigeria by positively contributing in the process of initiation and implementation of sound trade and economic policies in line with the strategic goals and aspirations of the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) through the effective and efficient deployment of technology, strategy and engagement of well trained and motivated staff, so as to make Bauchi State one of the most viable trading hubs in Nigeria
